What you're buying
Cinder Recovery & Test Pro is desktop software. Scanning drives, previewing found files, and the Drive Integrity & Capacity Test are free. Saving (recovering) files requires a paid license: Annual ($69.95/year, renews until cancelled) or Lifetime ($199 one-time). Your key arrives by email and activates offline.
The honest part about data recovery
No recovery software can guarantee your data back. Whether deleted data is recoverable depends on the drive, filesystem, and what's happened since deletion — in particular, modern SSDs typically erase deleted data automatically (TRIM), and OS protections restrict raw access to some drives. The free scan-and-preview exists so you can see what's recoverable before paying. See our Disclaimer.
Sensible-use rules
- Only scan and recover data from drives you own or are authorized to access.
- Don't redistribute, resell, or generate license keys.
- Annual covers 2 machines; Lifetime covers your own machines. Personal and commercial-personal use are both fine.
Refunds
Because the free version lets you see which files are recoverable before buying, refunds are considered case-by-case within 14 days — email support@cinderdatarecovery.com. Cancelling an annual subscription stops future renewals; your key works until the end of its paid year.
Warranty & liability
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for data loss — recovery software operates, by nature, on drives that have already had a data-loss event.
